Join Colin Brightfield for a fun workshop of going upside down. Inversions are some of the most beneficial yoga postures, but often fear stops us from taking full advantage of these amazing asanas(poses).
This workshop will focus on learning the foundations for inverting in a safe and gradual, step-by-step process. Colin will teach the stages and tools for learning each inversion so that you can learn at your own pace and practice to continue your learning beyond the workshop.
You will learn:
- alignment principles for confidently going upside down
- key techniques and skills to practice inversions safely
- shoulderstand, headstand, tripod headstand, forearm balance, and handstand preparation
- foundational practices for advancing your inversion practice
Come ready to explore, be challenged and gain some fresh perspective. A regular yoga practice is recommended but not required.
